The next version of RC-AirSim will be called RC-AirSim V2. RC-AirSim V2 is now under active development. Here is what has been worked on so far:
Multiple flying fields with improved graphics. High-resolution realistic trees have been added. Here is an example of a new tree from RC-AirSim V2:

Unfortunately for the unskilled R/C pilot, all the newly added trees will be a problem! That's because the aircraft will now collide with any of the objects in the field, including trees. RC-AirSim V2 uses technology from Open Dynamics Engine for its obstacle collision detection. No more flying through the shed!
