Use a Wired Xbox 360 Controller to Fly RC-AirSim !

A wired Xbox 360 controller works with RC-AirSim on your computer! The thumbsticks on the Xbox 360 wired controller act like the sticks on a model airplane's radio transmitter. You will be able to control all four channels: aileron, elevator, rudder, and throttle!
If you don't have a wired Xbox 360 controller, Amazon sells them:
Here's how to set it up:
Step 1: Hook up the wired Xbox 360 controller to your computer.
See these instructions from Microsoft on how to setup your controller:
Microsoft Support: How to connect an Xbox 360 Controller to a computer
The controller will plug into a USB port on your computer.
Step 2: Map the RC-AirSim controls to the wired Xbox 360 controller.
Run RC-AirSim
In the Controls area select the "Use Controller (Joystick)" radio button
Click the "Re-Map Joystick Controls or Keyboard Keys" button
Follow the on-screen directions to map your controls like this:

Click the "OK" button
Step 3: Now you are ready to fly!
The controls will be set up like this:
Note: Unlike a real radio transmitter, the throttle will not stay where you leave it, but it will return to 50% when you let go. You still have full control of the throttle, you just have to keep your thumb on the stick to hold a throttle position other than 50%.
